Our team had the immense joy of celebrating a very special wedding close to home —of our very own Senior Event Planner, Jodi Gold, and her college sweetheart, Steve! Held at the picturesque Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy, Massachusetts, this New England fall wedding was nothing short of spectacular. The vibrant autumn colors provided a breathtaking backdrop, perfectly complementing the couple's elegant navy and gold palette, a theme Jodi thoughtfully brought to life. But this wasn’t just any wedding. After more than ten years together, Jodi and Steve transformed their decade-long relationship into a heartfelt celebration. Every detail, large and small, reflected their shared story, making the day deeply personal and meaningful for everyone in attendance.
Jodi and Steve’s love story was evident from the start of the day. They chose to exchange vows, with views of Boston’s skyline and the rolling greens providing the perfect setting as the backdrop to their Chuppah. When it came to planning the reception, Jodi’s event expertise and keen eye for detail truly shined. From personalized décor to a thoughtfully curated vendor list, every element of the reception told a piece of their story. White textured linen, gold charger plates, and glowing candles set the scene, while elegant floral arrangements of ranunculus, calla lilies, orchids, roses and more, added a touch of sophistication.
One of the most touching aspects of the wedding was the couple’s connection to their incredible vendors, who each held special significance. The florist, who had created arrangements for Jodi’s Bat Mitzvah decades ago, crafted beautiful blooms for the big day. The band — whose availability the couple had prioritized when setting their wedding date — ensured the music was as meaningful as it was lively.
Even Jodi’s event planning colleagues were eager to pitch in! From behind-the-scenes coordination to lending moral support, the whole team worked together to help execute Jodi’s vision perfectly. It was a rare treat to see Jodi, always the planner, on the other side of the process, soaking in every moment of joy and magic she usually creates for others.
The evening was nothing short of spectacular, filled with laughter, love, and high-energy dancing. A highlight of the night was the couple’s first dance to “History In The Making” by Darius Rucker — a song that beautifully captured their decade-long journey. The energy only grew as guests flooded the dance floor, led by a Hora orchestrated by none other than Steve Siagel himself, filling the room with excitement and tradition.
Heartfelt toasts followed, with family and friends sharing stories of the couple’s love, commitment, and adventures. Every moment felt warm and intimate, leaving everyone with memories they would treasure for years to come.
Jodi and Steve’s wedding wasn’t just a celebration of their marriage; it was a tribute to the life they’ve built together and the people who have supported them along the way.
