You might not have known this, but Michael Siagel, the owner of Siagel Productions, and his wife Sydney were devoted "Lord of the Rings" fanatics. They selected their wedding location to pay homage to this theme and its influence on their lives. The ceremony took place on the terrace of the Mount Washington Hotel, which boasted one of the best views in the Northeast. The atmosphere felt akin to standing on the terrace of Gondor.
Cocktail hour unfolded outside under the veranda, on another stunning terrace that overlooked the Mount Washington grounds. Live music and bourbon flowed freely. Inside the main hall, the lighting created shadow textures of trees on the walls, perfectly complementing the seed-like chandeliers. The floral arrangements were an unconventional mix of low succulents, natural-looking vines, and grasses—an unmistakable nod to the Shire.
Even the cake was themed; it was frosted with vanilla but revealed black chocolate "dirt-like" insides. The Beantown Band rocked the night away, and guests left with stories about this unforgettable wedding that continued to be talked about for years to come.
